Fourth Of July And Jack's First Fish

We had a great week with my Dad visiting! He was able to celebrate the 4th of July with us--which mainly meant, eat lots of meat, watch some beautiful fireworks, and enjoy being together!

Don't I have the three cutest fireworks in the whole world!?

The weekend before, we went out to our dear friend's beautiful land--about an hour from Roanoke--and spent the afternoon fishing and swimming and having fun!

Nathan and Jack both caught fish all by themselves! But it was Jack's very first time to catch a fish by himself! I think he was a bit more freaked out than excited about this. Haha!

The Salem Fair

Well, after living in Roanoke for four years, we finally made it to the Salem Fair! Good grief! I wish we had gone sooner, because it was fun!!

We all had a blast! We purchased unlimited ride passes for Nathan and Jack, and we sure got our money's worth out of those! The boys wanted to ride every.single.ride! So fun!

Nathan and Jack both rode their first roller coaster ride. Scott rode with Jack, and I rode with Nathan. So, we had to take turns staying with Henry (who was an angel in the stroller for two hours!).

Just hearing them squeal with laughter filled my heart with joy!

Oh! And Henry tried funnel cake for the first time. I'm pretty sure he liked it!!
