Snuggles With Jack

I love this picture, and it certainly isn't because it's a great picture of me.

I'm tired. I don't get much sleep these days. {Something about three kids and a full time job}

This Jack Bean, as I call him, is so precious and sweet to me. He'll never fully know the tender spot he has in my heart now and for all of eternity.

This boy is snuggles and sweetness. Every morning when he wakes up and every afternoon when he wakes up from his nap, he comes for snuggles. He is truly my gentle giant. He towers above everyone his age, and yet he is caring and soft in the kindest of ways.

I'm all broken out skin and bags under my eyes and breastfeeding boobs these days. But to this boy, I know I am a princess. I know I am warmth and security and all things steady and loving. I will never, ever take that for granted.

I treasure my snuggles with Jack.

Nathan's Seventh Birthday Party

I Have A Seven Year Old!

WHOA. When did this happen!? Nathan turned seven yesterday, and my head is still spinning thinking, "Seven sounds old! Goodness gracious!"

Nathan got a basketball goal this year for his birthday. {One thing I want to remember about that was I stayed out in the driveway with a head lamp on my forehead from 7:00 - 11:00 PM, and then Scott came home after a fourteen hour operation and finished putting it together from 1:00 - 5:00 AM.}

He was so grateful and sweet about it. He's already spent lots of time out there shooting hoops!

This boy requested bacon and donuts for breakfast. And for dinner, he wanted "Dad's burgers." We had a wonderful day celebrating this sweet, smart, caring, funny, strong, loving boy! What a wonderful and blessed seven years. Thank You, Lord!

Henry At Nine Months

You, Henry Thomas, are just the cutest thing in the universe! You are so happy!

You're pulling up to standing all the time now!

You have two bottom teeth, and one has just broken through on the top!

You're obsessed with your big brothers! Obsessed.

You're pulling over chairs, knocking over things on tables, and generally going after anything and everything you shouldn't be. {Ahem, exhausting}

You go to bed at 6:50 PM, and you wake around 5:50 AM. You nap twice a day.

You're still being breastfed, but you can now use a sippy cup.

You eat yogurt, baby food mixed with rice cereal, peanut butter, turkey, cheese, apples, watermelon, veggie straws, strawberry fig newtons, and WHATEVER MOMMY IS EATING!

All the ladies in the church nursery say you're the cutest and they're in love with you!

You're loud, for being the youngest. You've got a lot to say.

You're loved, cherished, adored, treasured, prayed over and for, and celebrated! Happy nine months, little baby!
