Decorating The Tree

This past weekend, Scott and I took the kiddos out to select our Christmas tree. A Frasier Fir, as usual! We attended a birthday party and got home late, so I quickly threw some Christmas cookies in the oven, got the Pandora turned on to Christmas Classics, poured some eggnog and sparkling cider, and we got to work decorating! The boys had so much fun, now that they’re older and getting to enjoy more liberties with hanging the ornaments. We only shattered one....! Goodness. Regardless, they’re only “things,” and we had a fun time together. That’s what counts!

Jack’s 7th Birthday

On Tuesday, we celebrated Jack’s seventh birthday! He had Shipley’s for breakfast, my mom and I brought up McDonald’s for his lunch at school, I brought cupcakes for his class, and he finished the day celebrating at Hopdoddy. It was a fun, yummy day celebrating Jack! Jack is so kind and smart, and truly a friend to everyone. I’m lucky to be his Mommy!
