Getting In The Christmas Spirit

The Christmas spirit is alive and well at Casa de Ryan! This includes:

Santa hats!

Choo choo train rides!

More Santa hats {and electronics}!

Christmas letters!

Looking all handsome for church!

Reindeer antlers!

Rudolph {x2} {Thanks, BeeGee}!

Adventures with Rudolph {and enjoying some unseasonably warm weather}!

Christmas jammies {Thanks, BeeGee}!

Thank-you note to the neighbor who sewed up Rudolph when one adventure became too much for the red-nosed reindeer!

Friends over to eat dinner!

And watch a Christmas movie!

And decorate Rudolph cookies!

Hot apple cider in our favorite Christmas mug!

And driving around town looking at Christmas lights {in jammies, of course}!

Rock Climbing

Over the past year, Scott and Nathan have really enjoyed going rock climbing. Nathan even got some rock climbing gear for his birthday this past summer!

So, needless to say, Scott was very excited when Jack turned three and he could go rock climbing, too! This past Saturday, we took the boys rock climbing. I'm not sure that Jack is actually ready, but we still had a fun time!

Our Christmas Tree!

Last weekend, we got our Christmas tree! It seems to be "slim pickins" this year. I don't know why!

The boys were super pumped about finding a tree, and they were ready for the manly work of hauling the tree to the truck and then into the house.

We poured some yummy, adult eggnog, turned on the Christmas music, and got to decorating!

Ta-da!!

Trip to Little Rock

I know, I know--it's a little silly that I'm just now getting around to blogging about our trip to Little Rock. But, oh well! The boys and I once again went to Little Rock for two weeks around Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time!

I was so excited to finally meet my niece, Caitlin Elizabeth! She was absolutely adorable! The boys were obsessed with her!

Nathan got to stop by and see his "old" BFF, Braley! These two are the cutest!!

Overall, it was a wonderful time to see family and friends--and to work for a week and see my co-workers and boss and take lots of good meetings!
