Life Lately

Whew! Keeping up with three boys is not for the faint of heart, I'm learning! Here's what we've been up to lately:

Nathan lost his second tooth! He came into our bedroom and said, "Mom, my tooth is loose!" "That's crazy," I replied, "because it wasn't loose at all this morning..." "Well," Nathan replied, "I just twisted it really hard." Ouch. Fifteen minutes later? "Mom, I pulled my tooth!!" I have a sneaking suspicion that Nathan is jealous of the first grader next door who's lost seven teeth...

Jack got this little purple balloon at school to celebrate Mrs. Kelly's birthday. He carried it around with him all day for two days. Right here, in this photo, he said, "Mommy, I tied ballooney to my leg so it can fly me to Arkansas--to BeeGee!" So sweet.

Henry, milk coma:

This Friday night was the fall fun run at Nathan's elementary school. It was a one mile run, and he did great! He accidentally ran an extra lap--Mr. Over Achiever! ;) It was our first outing as a family of five, and it went really well. The boys had so much fun! And Scott even ran the last two laps with Nathan.

A spider attacked our house! Yikes! {The boys loooooove this. I started doing it last year, and they just think it's THE COOLEST.}

I caught Henry smiling! Or is that smirking? Either way, it's adorable!

Today, Henry is one month old! What!? I totally cried just thinking about it last night. I love this boy so much, and already can't remember our lives without him. XOXO, "Hen Hen!"

Henry fell asleep during tummy time today and I caught him smiling. My heart just turns into a puddle around this kiddo. Gosh, I love him so much!!

Henry At Three Weeks

I continue to fall more and more in love with this littlest boy of mine. His blue eyes, his little lips, his hair, his tiny fingers and toes. Dear Lord, is there anything sweeter!? Every day I say, "Jesus, thank You for Henry."

Henry's First Two Weeks At Home

Henry is the cutest baby! We are completely in love with our youngest little son. His first two weeks at home have really, truly been a breeze.

I am only getting up once a night with him. I know. I can't believe it, either! He goes to bed around 10:30 and I get up to nurse him at 2:00, and then I have to wake him up between 5:30 and 6:00 to nurse him again. Such a champ!

Nathan and Jack are obsessed with their little brother! They fight over who can hold him next. They can't wait to teach him how to throw a football, pop a wheelie, and catch bugs!

This little boy looks like his daddy! It's so funny, because at least at this point, Nathan is my clone, Jack looks like a mix of Scott and I, and Henry is a little mini Scott!

Easiest baby ever award goes to Henry! You are loved, loved, loved, little "Hen Hen," as your brothers call you!
