Our first Easter in Houston was very beautiful and sweet! We went to church in the morning, and then spent the afternoon at Scott’s parents’ house, swimming and hanging out!

Playtime At Field Elementary
The boys and I embarked yesterday on our weekly “lizard walk” through the neighborhood, but we quickly detoured to play at Field Elementary’s newly-finished play area and soccer field. They had a blast, and it was a picture perfect day off of school! We even went for snow cones afterwards. Yum, yum! I LOVE the boys’ school, and it’s so nice that it is a quick walk from home.

Our First Astros Game
Last week, our friends kindly invited us to go see an Astros game! We had such a great time, and Henry and Jack were in heaven! (I’m not so sure Nathan loved it!) It was really fun to see competitive baseball on THAT level. What a great time!

Fun In Little Rock
We took a quick weekend trip to Little Rock, and the boys loved seeing friends, family, and the outdoors (we don't have that here in Houston!).
Valentine's Day!
We had a very low key Valentine's Day. Nothing too fancy. Tacos to go and all my favorite people around me! Perfection!
A Broken Leg
Back in early February, Henry broke his leg! It was a little dramatic in the moment, as I quickly realized he was crying way more than normal (my boys almost never cry). Then, when he couldn't bear any weight on his leg, I knew it was time to take him in. We went to the ER, and sure enough, he fractured his tibia (on the trampoline!). He wore a cast for a month, and he was a real trooper about it. I kept him out of school for all of February, so we got extra time together. We just went to the doctor today for our third visit, and he said no x-rays and he doesn't need a follow-up. Yay for healing!!
