All-American Boy

After our walk today, the toddler and I decided to stay outside and enjoy the crazy amazing weather. Chalk, as you know, is a must if we're outside. Our driveway and back deck are always inhabited by chalky universes full of the toddler's favorite things: helicopters, airplanes, snakes, rockets, stars, triangles, and fire. (Another way to describe our chalking is. . . er. . . apocalyptic?) ;)



When we weren't chalking, we were parking it in our red-white-and-blue lawn chairs.

And we dined on grilled cheese.

And raspberry lemonade (AKA, the culprit in the case of the missing afternoon nap).

And did this all-American boy, with his skinned knees, vintage baseball t-shirt, and grilled cheese enjoy his lemonade?

Oh, yeah. :)
