Garlic Cheddar Biscuits

I baked these tonight to bring to a friend's birthday party, and they turned out really yummy! I got this recipe from food.com. They're super easy to make!

You will need:
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. of baking powder
  • 2 tsp. of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. of salt
  • 3/4 cup of melted butter (melt 1/2 cup and 1/4 cup separately)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • c. 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. of garlic powder (or garlic salt)
1. Preheat oven to 450.
2. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
3. Stir in milk and 1/2 cup of butter. Stir in cheese.
4. Drop batter by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet.
5. Bake biscuits for 6 minutes.
6. While the biscuits are in the oven, mix the garlic powder and the remaining butter.
7. Remove biscuits from oven after 6 minutes, drizzle with garlic butter, and put back in the oven for c. 6 minutes.

This recipe makes a dozen biscuits. Enjoy! :)
